today is my 2nd day back to school after the eidul adha holidays ..

I'm happy to meet my friends again!

skool trip to sekinchan

this morning I'm going to sekinchan ..

joining the educational skool trip for year 4 & year 5 ..

organised by sekolah rendah setiabudi ..

today we are going to enjoy the rustic charm and simple delights of rural living ..

a world away from the hectic city life ..

 

the itinerary as per below :

 

07:30 a.m : assemble

08:00 a.m : departure

10:00 a.m : arrive at sekinchan ~ visit IKS, Nata de Coco Factory

11:00 a.m : handcraft making from coconut leaves ~ fishing

12:30 p.m : enjoy a delicious lunch

02:00 p.m : activities ~ planting paddy ~ catching loach

04:00 p.m : departure from homestay 

04.30 p.m : visit IKS ~ kerepek factory

06:30 p.m : arrive at school

aidilfitri 2015

every year, my family and I head down to pantai timur

where both of my parents' kampongs are located, to celebrate hari raya ..
this year, we arrived 2 days earlier in kuala terengganu before the arrival of the first day of syawal ..

to be honest, I couldn't wait to celebrate hari raya
because I was so excited to meet my other family members, especially my cousins, uncles, aunties, tok ayah and tok mi after so long we haven't seen each other ..

on the first day of hari raya, I woke up early,
because I was so eager and excited ..
after I finished a bath and performed the dawn prayers (solat subuh),
I was getting ready to wear my new baju melayu, songkok and sampin that ayah & ibu recently bought for me at the wangsa walk mall ..

on the eve of hari raya, nearby mosques echo with muslims reciting the takbir
to praise the Almighty, and also as a sign ending of Ramadan ..
early in the morning, we went to the mosque to pray sunat hari raya wearing our new clothes ..
the rest of the day was spent visiting relatives and received guests and friends who came to our house ..

after fasting for 30 days in Ramadan,
it is time for me to enjoy all kind of delicious food on hari raya ..
there are ketupat, rendang, tapai, cakes, cookies and many more that I like to eat ..

I never thought that this year's raya will be one of the unforgettable ones,
because all of us managed to get together ..
of course our most memorable raya moment would be having everyone in the family
celebrating raya happily together ..

I was very very happy to meet all of my cousins,
we ate together, talked together and laughed together ..
it was so much fun ..

hari raya is a very joyous day for children
especially like me because on this day adults are very generous .. I collected quite large amount of money so called 'duit raya' from my parents and elders ..

my hobby

my favourite hobby is playing badminton ..

I spend a lot of my free time playing badminton with my family and friends ..

actually both of my parents are really good in playing badminton ..

and that was why I started learning to play badminton when I was 8 years old ..

 alhamdulillah, my parents are very supportive and have always given me a positive comments,
and that really help me to be more confident and have more motivation to play ..

 

badminton is one of the popular sports in my school ..
it is a great way of exercise and a great way to have fun with our friends ..
normally I play badminton during weekends,
with my family and good friends at the nearby sports planet ampang ..

I often watch badminton matches on television ..

my favourite badminton player is dato' lee chong wei ..

in future I wish to play badminton as good as dato' lee chong wei,
 and will be successful like him too ..

the above picture shows me, tr.fareeza and my school mates participated in the badminton tournament, representing sekolah rendah setiabudi for MSSD in 2014 & 2015 ..

that was truly a great experience and I feel very lucky to be part of the team ..

 my name is harris muslisham, but you can call me harris ..

I turned 11 this year .. I am a grade 5 student at sekolah rendah setiabudi in gombak ..

actually I am a new student in this school, because my family and I just moved back to malaysia from saudi arabia last year .. somehow, my new school is really a great place to learn new things and meet new people ..

there are five members in my family ..
they are my parents, my elder brother, me and my younger sister ..
I am the second born in my family ..
to me my family really means everything in the world ..
I love my family so much ..

I am an active, friendly and talkative person ..

my friends say that I am very funny and easy going boy with a good sense of humour ..

as soon as I met new friends who are happy to meet me,

I feel extremely comfortable with them, and I really enjoy to talk with them ..

because I have a great self confidence in making friends,
that's why I have lots of new friends in school ..

I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life ..

I love sport!

I play badminton, table tennis, football, futsal and swimming ..

and not just only sport, I also love to travel, watch movies and listen to music ..

luckily, me and my family are sharing the same interest together ..

that's why we always spend our quality time together ..
honestly, spending time with the ones you love is always amazing ..
